OVERVIEW

PCmover transfers all applications, files and settings from an old computer to a new one. PCmover is aimed at helping you transfer the comfort and familiarity of using your existing computer to your new one. The user interface is likewise designed to feel helpful and informative. As such, the process requires little technical knowledge. Deliverables include user interfaces (including all research, user testing, documentation and text strings) and all graphics (including icons and various graphics).

USER INTERFACE

The User Interface is based on a wizard. A user merely has to follow the onscreen instructions to set up both the old and new computers for the transfer. At the end of the set up process, the transfer will take place. A simple restart will complete the transfer process and the new computer will have the programs, files and personality of the old computer.
